Amazing Horror Classic - Psycho (1960)

Undoubtedly, Psycho is definitely one of the best 'old' horror movies I have seen! The film is an extraordinary film containing large elements of mystery, which is directed by the famous Alfred Hitchcock.
The film is based upon an office worker named Marion Crane (Janet Leigh), who decides she is beginning to get fed up with her life. Therefore, one day, Marion is given £25,000 to bank, and she regards this as an opportunity to quite literally 'run away' to start a new life. After a long drive out of town to Sam's California store, she is too tired to continue, and decides to check into the Bates Motel.
The horror and thrills basically start from this moment on-wards, as we discover the hotel owner - Norman Bates (Anthony Perkins) - is dominated by his mother.
The title of the movie speaks for the plot - it is genuinely about a character who we discover in an absolute lunatic!
Therefore, this is by far an exceptional class horror movie which contains mysterious moments, and definitely eerie moments full of silence (soon to be broken :) ). I would personally rate this film 9/10 and if you have not seen it then boy... Get It Watched!!!
