Warning - this is a very, very scary film! If you are up for an extremely frightening movie tonight then you have come to the right place. The film is an impressive horror in my opinion, and is directed by Bryan Bertino.
The plot revolves around a couple - James Hoyt (Scott Speedman) and his beloved Kristen McKay (Liv Tyler) who, after returning from a wedding reception, spend some time at an isolated holiday house. Soon enough, late at night, the intense horror begins when the couple receive a knock on the door. From this moment, it is not long until they begin to be invaded by three mysterious strangers, whose faces are concealed behind masks.
Soon enough, the couple find themselves surrounded, and in a violent struggle, they begin to attempt things they believed they were incapable of chancing in order to survive.
This is a perfect film for the late hours of night due to the continuous and unpredictable "jump scares" that occur throughout the film, and there is a distinctive atmosphere which causes us to feel uncomfortable whilst waiting on an intense silence to end.
The plot, in addition is addition is also very suitable and well-directed, and fits in perfectly with the horrors you will experience.
I would definitely recommend this film to all who are in serious need of a very scary movie, as this, in my opinion tops the lot!
