Insidious (2010) - another phenomenal modern horror

Looking for a really freaky horror film tonight? Well insidious (2010) is the perfect answer, in my opinion, for a late Saturday night. The movie is an excessively frightening movie and is very thrilling through key moments within the 103 minutes it lasts.
The film is directed by the same producer of 'The Conjuring' - James Wan and is very similar to The Conjuring in terms of the plot and the genre of horror being 'paranormal activity'.
The movies revolves around the parents Josh Lambert (Patrick Wilson - from 'The Conjuring'), and Renai Lambert (Rose Byrne), and the son - Dalton Lambert (Ty Simpkins).

It is a very dramatic story about the young boy Dalton who falls into a mysterious comma after an accident in the attic. However, soon the family discover that there is more to an endless sleep as the reason for the comma, as they discover paranormal relations within the comma. From this moment, the parents and several paranormal investigators attempt to retrieve Dalton from this comma by investigating the past and progressing through increasingly frightening paranormal events.
This movie is ideal for the weekend as it definitely grips the nerves of the audience and startles our minds through unexpected 'jump scares' and eerie moments shrouded in darkness. 10/10 in my opinion - fantastic film.
